Are you ready to reclaim that box of crayons from your childhood and reconnect with your creative side? Mary Potter Kenyon, a Therapeutic Art Coach and author of “Called to Be Creative: A Guide to Reigniting Your Creativity” shares the legacy of a creative mother, discusses creativity research that applies to everyone, and guides attendees in fun activities that will jumpstart their creativity. Jumpstart Your Creativity, Friday, September 9, 9:00 am-3:00 pm.  Our Lady of the Prairie Retreat, 2664 145th Ave., Wheatland, Iowa

Our Creator designed us to be creative, giving each of us a purpose. It is never too late to discover or reignite our inherent creativity. By following God’s plan for us, our lives can become the masterpiece He intended. Scientific research supports this, demonstrating how humans are happier and healthier when they work creativity into their lives. Mary Potter Kenyon, a Therapeutic Art Coach, certified grief educator and author of “Called to Be Creative: A Guide to Reigniting Your Creativity,” will help reconnect you with your innate creativity. The day begins with an overview of creativity research and a reflective look back to your childhood. Attendees will enjoy a day of jumpstart activities guaranteed to get your creative juices flowing, reflective writing exercises and a Spiritual Vision Board activity that helps you envision a more fulfilling life.
